( Adjustment) Gear change erratic, some times OK, When climbing hills in Auto, gear change/cruise control picks any gear ECU and non-engine electrics are also a common problem. And avoid the potentially problematic Dualogic semi-automatic gearbox. In short, buy carefully. Replacement Parts [based on Punto TwinAir - 2015 ex VAT] A set of front brake pads are around £17-£33 but you could pay as much as £52 for a pricier brand. Rear pads sit in the £38-£60 braket. Hi to everyone who can help me. I think I have been dealt a bad blow by a rogue car trader disguised as a private seller. I purchased this car via gumtree but there is no help via gumtree support apart from printed advert details over posting time. The car broke down in less than 8 days, it i start the car (punto grande 1.4 sporting 8v 2007 duelogic) i put it in gear and pull off fine but to get off my drive i have to pop it in reverse when i do it says gear unavailable. sometime it happens when i put it in drive, sometimes it fine. i have to turn engine off few times or rev the **** out of it to get it to work. I have a automatic transmission and occassionally (although more frequently) it seems to get "stuck" in gear. The display will show either 1 or 2 and then rev and keep revving, so I push the gear stick up to manual override up a gear and I get "Gear not Available" It wont go up down or neutral. I have to come to a stop, switch the engine off Fiat has access to this technology, but are simply too stingy to implement it. (don't get me started about the cost the dualogic gearbox isn't exactly a cheap option.) In 90,000 kms, my gearbox has broken twice. (once under warranty, once myself which I paid 540 euros at a Bosch dealer to fix including replacing the clutch. Hi everyone, I have been having trouble with the Dualogic box ever since I bought the car :-). The problem is that on first start after a few hours of rest, the hydraulic pump doesn't build enough pressure and I get the beeping. After about 20 seconds of this (and my wife staring at me), the I bought a Qubo Mylife 1.3 auto in June 2013 from a fiat dealership. It was 8 months old and had approx. 6000 miles on clock. The 3 year warranty ended on 29 Oct 2015.On 1st Dec 2015 I found gearbox stuck in 2nd gear and had to have car transported to Fiat dealer who quoted £96.00 + VAT to App Vay Tiền.
