This work around applies to all vr games (that I've tried). Mainly the ones where the games don't list room-scale and just standing and sitting. As the game would sit the floor & ceiling based is where the headset is in the Y-axis (up and down) as all VR games assumes that where the headset is on that axis is where the max height of the player.
Make sure when the game starts up to click the window displaying FNaF VR: HW because if your computer is focused on another window, for some reason it doesn't play audio. Did TheMonkeyGru's comment help? If not, right click the volume icon in the taskbar and select "Open Volume Mixer". Then open FNaF: HW and adjust the slider.
